6th edition of PAROOKAVILLE proves huge success after 3 years away

Perfect weather conditions provided the best party atmosphere as 225,000 party-goers re-entered the PAROOKAVILLE gates for Germany’s largest electronic dance music festival this year.

Last weekend, PAROOKAVILLE finally enjoyed its highly anticipated return to Weeze Airport, following a frustrating and long 3-year break. Attendees from over 40 countries along with millions of spectators streaming online, enjoyed a plethora of epic performances from some of the scene’s elite, from 22-24 July.

Having been away for so long, “Citizens” were welcomed back warmly, with unforgettable performances put on by the likes of Tiësto, Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Nicky Romero on just the first night alone. Atop another insane mainstage design, Robin Schulz, W&W, KSHMR and Armin van Buuren joined the party on Saturday, to make sure that the 2022 edition of the festival was one that was due to go down in history. On top of that, NERVO, Oliver Heldens, and Steve Aoki were in place to entertain another raucous crowd, before Timmy Trumpet closed out the festival for yet another year at the height of Sunday night.

Whilst all that happened on the mainstage, over 300 international artists were spread across the festival site, with Bill’s Factory, Cloud Factory, Power Plant and The Desert Valley Stage also proving main attractions across the weekend, brandishing a furry of different genres for all.

If you weren’t lucky enough to be in attendance this year, then be sure to keep an eye out for more information, as PAROOKAVILLE is, of course, set to return for 2023; make sure you’re there!
