Broadwick Live, famously a name that has been part of the production of famous club Printworks in London, has unveiled a brand-new venue called The Beams.
The powerhouse team that are behind famous events spaces like Printworks, The Drumsheds (before it closed down) Depot Mayfield and more have now announced that they are bringing a new venue concept to London as part of their expansion into bringing new spaces for electronic talent to thrive in the UK capital. Called The Beams, not much has been given away about it yet, but it is described as being “located in the industrial heart of East London.” Broadwick Live & LWE will work closely together to ensure this is a space that thrives as part of the expansion of the UK electronic venue scene.
Ajay Jayaram, Director of Music for Broadwick Live Group stated, via Mixmag, about the 55,000 sq Feet venue:
“Musically, we will lean into the partnership, programming an eclectic series of day to night events over twelve consecutive Saturdays – October to December. We’ll be featuring top tier names and emerging talent, across various sounds, styles and genres within the broad sphere of house, techno, disco and everything that lies in between. We look forward to introducing our audiences to this exceptional new industrial setting, full of character, situated in an untouched part of London.”
The Beams will be a multi-purpose venue, and when not hosting some huge names in music they will open it to other events and cultural gatherings, and things such as film shoots and photo studios. Opening night for this venue os October 1, and we’re extremely excited to see what names grace this exciting new venue.
More information about lineups will be known on July 5, and you can visit their website here for more information as it becomes known. Don’t forget to sign up here to receive priority access to buy tickets for future events.
