The world of Tomorrowland is something to marvel at. The Belgian festival has created an entire universe over the past 20 years that holds magical stories to explore. And now, Tomorrowland will look to further expand on these adventures as they will soon develop a fiction series.
Set to be a fantasy trilogy, Tomorrowland will take the worlds they create with each festival edition and adapt them into books. The focus of the series will be themes that the promotion has built the foundation of its name on. Unity, hope, love, nature and health. With the help of Paul Lucas from the literacy agency, Janklow & Nesbit, and Jason Richman of United Talent Agency, the two will bring the untold stories of Tomorrowland into the spotlight.
“Every year Tomorrowland presents a new festival theme, which comes to life via a beautiful trailer. [The] stories of each theme cannot be expressed fully during the festival. [We] dreamt for years of taking more time to develop them. Three years ago, we set up our fiction department. [A] passionate team brings to life the magical worlds and storylines of the festival in novel form. We are excited to enter a partnership with Paul Lucas, adopted into his all-star lineup of talent. Paul represents work of the highest calibre and shares our affection for great fantasy stories, so we can’t wait to take our first steps into publishing with him.” – Michiel Beers, Tomorrowland founder, Press Release
Info about the books such as characters, plot line, release date/locations and if there will be any film adaptations are currently unknown. Tomorrowland is set to host its first-ever three-weekend festival this month featuring over 800 artists during its duration.
