Parookaville has just announced a unique new partnership with TikTok, as they aim to supply an unprecedented 9:16 livestream experience from the festival across the 22-24 July.
Next week the 3-day festival will bring back some of the world’s finest DJ talent to Weeze Airport in Germany for the first time in 2 years. Over 200,000 Parookaville citizens will gather together in person, and even more can now join the action through TikTok as the organisers have announced a new partnership with the social media platform. This new collaboration will allow the global TikTok community to experience the thrill and vibes of the festival live for seven hours on each of the festival days.
The Parookaville madness will be presented through a show specially designed to take to TikTok’s signature vertical 9:16 video format. During the stream, fans will be able to catch performances on their profile from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki, Robin Schulz and many more. The shows will also be rounded off with exclusive artist interviews and behind-the-scenes peeks, to provide those at home with the most immersive experience.
Michael Kümmerle, Head of Music Operations for Germany, Austria & Switzerland at TikTok detailed his excitement regarding the project;
“The hashtag #ElectronicMusic has over two billion views on TikTok. We see the genre being celebrated by the community on a daily basis. The Parookaville Festival delivers fans many of their stars from diverse subgenres like EDM, Techno or House on more than ten stages. We’re looking forward to bringing this unique mix of music festival and entertainment content to life on the platform”.
The countdown is almost over for the return of Parookaville, which will see over 300 international DJs on more than 10 stages next week, from 22-24 July.
