Sebastian Ingrosso took to Instagram, calling out the high fashion brand for allegedly copying their stage design layout, noting that it “Looks familiar“.
As Swedish House Mafia return to the stage, they have brought a new concept to their live shows encompassing a giant circular suspended shape with LEDs fitted into it. Simple yet sleek, it seems as though it has inspired many others as Sebastian Ingrosso recently took to Instagram Stories to call out French luxury fashion brand Saint Laurent for seemingly copying their design for their shows.
The huge circular addition to the trio’s shows blew minds when it was introduced at Coachella for their joint headlining performance with The Weeknd, and has now become a staple of all of their shows recently popping up at their one-night-only Ushuaïa Ibiza show recently. On 15 July, Saint Laurent debuted their men’s spring / summer 2023 collection with a runway show, and Sebastian Ingrosso caught wind of it thanks to a similar design used in the show. Towards the end, as shown in the video below, a spherical light is showcased, sparking rumours that SHM could have been a huge inspiration for this.
