ARTBAT’s Artur Takes Hiatus Following “Urgent” Surgery
Artur's bandmate, Batish, will continue to perform as ARTBAT while he takes time to heal.
ARTBAT's Artur will step back from live performances while he undergoes "urgent" surgery, according to the duo.
A representative for the Ukrainian dance music outfit announced the news on their Instagram, calling this time a "life-depending stage" for Artur and announcing that his bandmate, Batish, will continue to perform during as ARTBAT during his treatment and recovery.
ARTBAT's upcoming shows include performances at London's iconic Printworks venue and a number of Miami Music Week gigs, including one with the famed Zamna brand.
The rep, who did not reveal the reasoning behind the surgery, called on the superstar duo's fans for support.
"Please understand Artur is coming through surgery and will need time for treatment and recovery," reads ARTBAT's statement. "That being said, we are not stopping to work on music, on the contrary. We just have to go through this important period of time with strength and support. Artur will be back stronger than ever."
