What a Knight: Vegas Golden Knights Celebrate Stanley Cup Win at Omnia Nightclub With Steve Aoki
After steamrolling the Florida Panthers to win their first-ever NHL championship, the Vegas Golden Knights went on the ultimate power play.
On Tuesday, the Golden Knights pummeled the Panthers by a score of 9-3 in a statement-making blowout to hoist the 2023 Stanley Cup. The trophy ultimately made its way to OMNIA Nightclub, where the champs rejoiced and raved.
But this wasn't your average celebration. The win marked the pinnacle of an unimaginable success story for the Golden Knights, a ragtag expansion team who entered the NHL just six years ago after drafting a squad of misfits and rookies.
When asked what kind of a party the team had in store, Knights forward Jonathan Marchessault couldn't wipe the grin off his face. "I don’t know," he said. "Probably a big one."
Led by captain Mark Stone, who notched a hat-trick in the series-clinching Game 5 victory, the team rolled into OMNIA at 2am and raved the night away alongside—who else—Steve Aoki.
Aoki, who rocked a Golden Knights jersey during his DJ set, at one point hugged and locked arms with the players in an onstage huddle. And a rapturous spin of Queen's "We Are The Champions" poured gasoline on the celebrations.
