Subtronics Reveals Sophomore Album In the Works
Subwoofers everywhere are preparing for their death knell after Subtronics announced a new album in the works.
The dubstep and bass music superstar has started recording his sophomore album, he revealed on social media today. Details are scarce at the moment, including a title, release date or collaborators.
Subtronics' reveal came in a tweet featuring a clip of him dropping an unreleased song live. He stopped short of confirming whether or not the track will appear on his upcoming album, but it's a safe bet.
Few in dubstep have experienced a rise quite as meteoric as Subtronics. Ubiquitously considered the face of modern-day bass music, he was named one of EDM.com's best producers back in 2020 and has since established himself as one of the scene's most coveted collaborators.
Subtronics dropped his thunderous debut album, FRACTALS, last year before releasing ANTIFRACTALS, a wonky remix album featuring Virtual Riot, IMANU, Kai Wachi and more. Both projects released on his very own label, Cyclops Recordings.
Subtronics is currently on tour with performances on tap at Lollapalooza, Lost Lands and other major festivals. You can purchase tickets here.
