Don Diablo and AR/CO’s “Solar Eclipse” Is a Lunar Love Letter of Indie-Dance

Don Diablo and AR/CO have reunited for a new collaboration, "Solar Eclipse," out now via Helix Records.

They joined forces over three years ago for "Hot Air Balloon," a track that remains a fan-favorite. Releasing another record that crackles with indie-dance exuberance, it's clear they haven't lost their collaborative touch.

"It's been such a joy to see AR/CO grow from the start," Diablo said in a press release. "Something magical happens whenever we put our heads together and I am super happy to finally have a big follow-up to 'Hot Air Balloon' which is still gaining so much momentum three years after its release!"

Like its namesake, "Solar Eclipse" is a fleeting spectacle of beauty and power, leaving an afterimage burned into the listener's brain. The track, AR/CO adds, is for "late warm nights, long drives and dancing with the people you love."

Diablo's uplifting production sweeps us into a post-summer rapture, its breezy rhythms mirroring the giddy rush of newfound affection. Meanwhile, AR/CO's lyrics, "When I'm with you, it doesn't get better than this / When I'm with you, my heart is a solar eclipse," evoke the rare, breathtaking moment when passion obscures all else.
