Tomorrowland to Release Short Film Celebrating 20th Anniversary

The organizers of Tomorrowland, the world's leading EDM festival, are releasing a special short film in celebration of its 20th anniversary, they announced today.

Peering into the looking glass of Tomorrowland has never been more enticing after this year's flagship edition in Belgium, the biggest in the history of the storied festival brand. Fans will soon be treated to a 45-minute film, One Year, which revisits that momentous fest as well as Tomorrowland's many other events throughout 2024.

"Celebrating 20 years of unparalleled influence on global culture, One Year goes beyond the music, diving deep into the dreams, energy, and connections that make Tomorrowland a phenomenon," Tomorrowland said in a press release.

Produced by Tomorrowland's in-house video team, the film will feature intimate interviews with artists and behind-the-scenes footage from Tomorrowland Belgium, Tomorrowland Winter, Tomorrowland Brasil, CORE Tulum, CORE Medellín, Tomorrowland presents Atmosphere, Tomorrowland presents Our Story, Terra Solis Dubai, the Tomorrowland Immersive Experience and Ushuaïa Ibiza as well as never seen before footage from the Tomorrowland Atelier.

"The amount of work and time, thought process and the teams," said Steve Aoki, who DJed at this year's festival in Belgium. "The village of people that put this thing together. Everywhere I feel, touch, see… is Tomorrowland. It doesn’t matter if I’m in Brazil or France. And definitely—obviously—in Belgium."

This year's festival featured sets by Alesso, Swedish House Mafia, Afrojack, Hardwell, Amelie Lens, John Summit, Anyma, NERVO, Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Dom Dolla and EDM.com Class of 2024 star Sara Landry, among many others. You can watch their full performances here.
