Afrojack Returns as NLW With Blistering EP, “Unity”

Afrojack is back as NLW, releasing a new project that pulses with the same electrifying intensity that first thrust him into the global spotlight.

This time, however, he's exploring new creative frontiers. The new EP, Unity, features six tracks that range from electro to drum & bass and even melodic techno.

Standouts include the Primate-assisted "Air Max," a frenetic drum & bass banger that rarely lets you come up for air; and "Subway," which channels Afrojack's signature Dirty Dutch sound but reimagined through the lens of dark, propulsive techno. Elsewhere in the EP, NLW goes the bass house route in "Desires," a down-and-dirty track coated with infectious grooves that demand movement.

But perhaps the most captivating moment on Unity comes with "To The Light," a melodic techno stunner where gleaming synths contrast beautifully with driving bass. Meanwhile, haunting vocals float like a distant memory, pleading for release and redemption: "Show me what it's worth / Help me ease my mind / Take me to the light."
