Ariel Zetina curates Diamond Formation URL live stream hosted by Smartbar

Ariel Zetina is curating a live stream event called Diamond Formation URL that will be hosted by Smartbar in partnership with Red Bull. It will take place on August 1 and be streamed on Smartbar’s Mixcloud Pro channel.

The line-up spotlights US queer sounds and scenes, and money raised will be donated to local charities and community organisations, as well as benefitting the Smartbar staff.

DJs set to play alongside Ariel Zetina are DJ Stingray, DJ Swisha, Kush Jones, Dee Diggs, Akua, Erika Kayne, They/them DJ, Divoli S’vere, ASL Princess, Reverend Dollars, Hijo Prodigo, DJ Dentata, Zaida and Miss Twink USA.

Performances will come from Luc Ami, Darling Shear, Cae Monae, IV Fisher, Juku, David Davis, Pangaea, Miss Toto and Dutchesz Gemini.

Alongside Metro and Smartbar staff relief, the causes the money will be benefit are: Brave Space Alliance, the first Black-led, trans-led LGBTQ Center located on the South Side of Chicago; audio arts organisation Afrorack; a Chicago-based collective of Black, trans and gender-nonconforming artists and organisers Molasses Chicago; and mutual support organisation Little Village Solidarity Network.
