Avicii's 'TIM' wins Best Album at International Dance Music Awards
Avicii‘s posthumously released album TIM has been awarded Best Album at the International Dance Music Awards. The award ceremony took place digitally this year, as its usual setting at Miami’s Winter Music Conference was unavailable due to COVID-19 closures.
The IDMA award adds to TIM’s list of awards to date. In February, Avicii earned two Grammis at Sweden’s Grammy Award equivalent event. TIM scored Best Electro/Dance Album of the Year, while lead single, “SOS,” featuring Aloe Blacc won Best Song of the Year.
Other industry winners include MEDUZA, who picked up awards for Breakthrough Artist and Best Song (Dance) for “Piece of Your Heart” featuring Goodboys, and FISHER, who snagged Best Song (Electronic) for “You Little Beauty.” View the full list of 2020 winners below.
