Chromatics share vision-inducing 3-pronged package for 'TOY' – Dancing Astronaut

Chromatics continue carving out cinematic soundscapes with the triple-headed package for their latest single, “TOY.” The dream-pop quartet have been fashioning their surreal cuts to fit the big screen since their turn-of-the-century inception. They’ve notably scored visual media like the Drive soundtrack and a number of TV series, like the surreal cult-drama Twin Peaks.

“TOY” touts the group’s flagship ’80s synth-pop flare and desire-laden thematic center. Illusory arpeggios, celestially tragic vocals from Chromatics vocalist Ruth Radelet, and a steady dance floor kick offer the listener alternative aural realities.
