Corona taps Diplo and Dillon Francis for Cinco de Mayo livestream
Against the virus that took its name, Corona is proving victorious and doing its part to benefit those in need during the pandemic. To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, virtual powerhouse duo Diplo and Dillon Francis will be livestreaming a DJ set with some help from Corona and Live Nation. The former has pledged $1 for every viewer up to $500,000 to the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund.
Corona has already donated $1 million to the fund, in addition to a partnership with food delivery service Postmates, who is offering free delivery on all orders placed on May 5 between 10:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. locally. For Diplo and Dillon Francis, this is just another virtual concert for the books while they quarantine together. In addition to their weekly “Coronight Fever,” they recently went live on TikTok for #tiktokprom, featuring celebrity guests Charli XCX, Terry Crews, Trippie Redd, and more.
Head to Live Nation’s Twitter to watch the fiesta starting at 9 p.m. ET May 5.
