DJ Hanzel plunges to deepest depths on tech house rework of 'You Do You'
by: Ross Goldenberg Jun 25, 2020
The debate surrounding dance music’s most entertaining personas simply doesn’t transpire without DJ Hanzel. Following a three year lapse, Dillon Francis‘ hallowed alter ego broke the One Deeper blackout at the dawn of quarantine to present consecutive mix sessions, each packed with an hour’s worth of house delicacies.
With a sole production credited to his name, a revision of “Need You” made in tandem with Drezo in 2016, the one and only DJ Hanzel has officially returned to tackle Francis and BabyJake‘s “You Do You.” DJ Hanzel formally flaunted his tech house adjustment of “You Do You” during his second One Deeper showing. Then and now, the rework epitomizes his emphasis on always going one deeper.
