Fred again.. and Baby Keem Drop Hotly Anticipated Collaboration, “leavemealone”

"Does anyone have Baby Keem's Number?"

Those words appeared onscreen as Fred again.. played what was a then-unreleased collaboration with Baby Keem at his unprecedented nine-night run at LA's Shrine Expo Hall. After he first debuted the song at a show in Edinburgh, it quickly became hotly anticipated.

Fred continued to tease the song throughout 2023, but fans didn't have to wait long after "leavemealone" officially hit streaming platforms today. The drum & bass track expertly samples vocals from Keem's "south africa" and "BULLIES," seamlessly fusing the once-somber tracks with a buoyant, lighthearted melody that breathes new life into the original compositions.

Skrillex and Four Tet naturally snagged production credits on "leavemealone," a single that may appear on a follow-up to 2022's USB EP, which Fred recently teased on TikTok. After nabbing four 2024 Grammy nominations, it seems 2024 is shaping up to be another landmark year for the surging Brit.
