Fredy Lane’s “Party Girl” Turns the Dancefloor Into a Dangerous Obsession

House grooves and mischievous energy collide in "Party Girl," Fredy Lane's latest single.

Edgy, intoxicating and a little bit dangerous, this tech house temptress claws its way out of the speakers and into your hips. The track is best experienced in dark, smoky rooms, delivering chugging basslines that lure you in slowly and keep you moving, almost against your will.

Meanwhile, the LA-based producer's seductive vocals slither through the mix like a velvet-tongued serpent. Unapologetic and dripping with late-night allure, they slink through the arrangement like whispers at an afterparty you shouldn't be at but can't bring yourself to leave.

Out now via Honua Records, "Party Girl" arrives in the midst of a furious rise for Lane, who has recently released music on Thrive, Insomniac's IN/ROTATION and deadmau5's hau5trap, among others. She's also partnered with Insomniac Radio to launch a podcast, Alone Together, which she says functions as a platform for open conversations about mental health in the electronic music community.
