FriendShip to bring AC Slater, TroyBoi, Mija, Boys Noize, and more for 2020 voyage – Dancing Astronaut

Gary Richards (Destructo) is making good on his promise to bring top-tier selections from both the electronic and hip-hop spheres out to sea with him for the 2020 arm of his FriendShip festival cruise.

Atop the 2020 lineup sits titans of their trades, AC Slater, Destructo himself (duh), Malaa, Mija, Billy Kenny, and Boys Noize, as well as staunchly steepening newcomers like Phlegmatic Dogs, Masteria, and DUCKY. Hip-hop rears its head on the roster through veteran rappers Busy P and Destructo collaborator, Ty Dolla $ign, among others.

Richards has always been ardent about providing a platform for “the fresh and the new,” in dance music; and he’s endlessly uncovering unorthodox and synergistic means of doing so. Shipping out to Coco Cay from Miami this coming January, the FriendShip affair succeeds Richards’ previous tenure with his brainchild, HARD Events, the event brand behind the outrageously attended venture vessel, HOLY SHIP!.
