It’s EDC week, or what would have been. Although festival season has been pushed back to next year, that craving for dance music still resides, so we reminisce and remember some of the premier festivals’ outstanding performances.

Today, we remember REZZ‘s 2019 EDC set, a peak of the alien bass slayer’s skyrocketing career owning a 12:30 to 1:30 a.m. primetime slot on the massive circuitGROUNDS stage.

This witching hour is packed with disorienting synths, blaring subs, and titillating high ends that place the exemplar of midtempo bass on the well-deserved dance music pedestal. With memorable moments such as her early set ode to devilish collaborator 13 with a transition of their “DRUGS!” fan favorite into 13’s “Oath” or her Linkin Park “One Step Closer” into “Alien” near the midpoint.

REZZ also surprised onlookers by bringing Underoath drummer/vocalist Aaron Gillespie on stage to perform their unreleased collaborative track, “Falling,” from her impending Beyond The Senses EP.
