Hardwell, Don Diablo and The Chainsmokers to Headline Europe’s First-Ever Theme Park Music Festival

For two days this summer, attendees of Germany's leading amusement park will need to hold onto their churros thanks to an innovative new music festival.

Scheduled for August 31st and September 1st, the inaugural Heide Park Festival is Europe's first music festival in a theme park, according to its organizers. Transforming the grounds into one giant dancefloor under the stars, it's a festival built for both the young and the young at heart.

Just like the park's many coasters, the festival offers a heart-racing free-fall into a new experience at the intersection of live entertainment and music.

"We want to create an experience for our visitors that has never been seen before," said David Davood, Managing Director of HighLight Production GmbH. "There are already so many great festivals in Germany, but none that combine two worlds like us. A synergy of pure thrills and unforgettable moments of happiness for all ages. There is no better place for this than Heide Park Resort."

Heide Park

Organizers are expecting roughly 50,000 visitors at Heide Park over the course of the festival, according to a press release shared by our friends at DJ Mag Germany. The best part? A pass grants unlimited access to its many rides, including the behemoth "Colossos," Europe's highest wooden rollercoaster.

Heide Park Festival's debut features a big lineup to mirror the euphoria of the venue's white-knuckle thrill rides. Hardwell, Don Diablo and The Chainsmokers are slated to headline, with additional performances on tap from Felix Jaehn, Julian Jordan, Mike Williams, VIZE and chart-topping singer-songwriter Zara Larsson, among others.
