ID&T Group purchases share hold in Apenkooi Group

The Dutch music entertainment promoter, ID&T Group, has just made a monumental acquisition with the Apenkooi Group that will change the direction of the trajectory for both parties. “For the ID&T brand partnership team, this is a very important step to further expand the partnership portfolio with commercial and qualitative propositions,” says CEO of the ID&T Group, Ritty van Straalen.

The ID&T Group (owners of Awakenings and Mysteryland) are not just one of the biggest promotion groups in Europe but in the entire world. The new stake will create an increased influx of revenue and infrastructure for the Apenkooi Group that will allow for new heights.

“We are delighted to partner with Superstruct and ID&T. Joining a global platform of industry-leading, like-minded entrepreneurs will take Apenkooi to the next level and enable our company to seize the numerous growth opportunities within electronic music events brand partnerships and sustainability.” – Jasper Goossen CEO and co-founder of Apenkooi.

With ID&T’s partnership already with Superstruct Entertainment (the company that owns Sziget, Sónar, elrow, Parookaville and more), the opportunities now with DGTL, one of the most sustainable dance events, are even more endless.

“We are very happy and proud to welcome so many talented and passionate people to our family. Not only does Apenkooi have an amazing portfolio with brands such as DGTL, STRAF_WERK and Pleinvrees, we also have been partners already in several festivals such as Amsterdam Open Air, Valhalla and By the Creek for many years. In addition to the many popular festivals, their in-house brand partnership agency will also become part of the group.” – Ritty van Straalen, CEO of the ID&T Group

We can’t wait to see how this new acquisition improves dance events in Europe and around the world.
