Influential Dubstep Producer Caspa Drops New EP, “Inner Space”

Deep, Dark & Dangerous has added another legend to their roster, Caspa, who is back with a new EP.

Inner Space is the dubstep icon's debut on the TRUTH-curated label, featuring four tracks that explore the deeper end of his sound. The opening track "Overlords" features gargantuan bass that warps and melts like a spaceship engine powering down after jumping to lightspeed, while the eerie "Gummo" opts for subtle wobbles beneath haunting keys.

"Interdimensional" also delivers Caspa's signature low end, with powerful, grinding bass reminiscent of a warning signal before approaching a hostile planet. On the other hand, the EP's unrelenting closer "What Happened To Him" sounds like the crash-landing on that planet with its aggressive bassline, which twists and contorts like a Xenomorph ready to attack.

Caspa is now gearing up for a number of high-profile performances in the months ahead. In less than two weeks, he'll go b2b with fellow dubstep legend Rusko at Lost Lands Festival before taking the stage at Wakaan Music Festival. He'll then join Nero, Knife Party, Flux Pavilion and more at UKF's epic Drumsheds takeover in December.
