Lady Gaga recruits Skrillex, Boys Noize, Madeon, Ariana Grande, Elton John, and more for 'Chromatica'
When Lady Gaga goes in, she goes all in.
Setting the tone for her feverishly anticipated sixth LP back in February with the Tchami-produced lead single, “Stupid Love,” Gaga made it clear from the jump she had set out to make a tried and true dance record for her latest project. Chromatica promises to be closer to Gaga’s earlier dance-pop-centric material than her more recent works, and now with the album’s official tracklist revealed, it appears the “Just Dance” superstar has undoubtedly delivered.
Skrillex, Madeon, Axwell, frequent collaborators Boys Noize and Bloodpop, Ariana Grande, Elton John, and K-pop outfit Blackpink, and more all feature on Chromatica‘s tracklist, rounding out a powerhouse team of contributors to what will likely be one of the most anticipated albums of the year. LG6, as its been affectionately dubbed, was due to land this spring, though Gaga announced the record’s delay in the wake of global COVID-19 lockdowns. No official reschedule date has been revealed as of yet, though when Chromatica does land, it will surely be worth the wait.
