Larimer Lounge Launches Ski-Inspired EDM Venue In Denver

Swap your snow gear for something sleek and dance-ready as Larimer Lounge turns up the heat this winter with the launch of a new venue, Ski House RiNo.

Denver's Larimer Lounge, a cornerstone of the city's live music scene, is redefining winter nightlife with an inventive twist. Beginning December 6th, the venue will debut Ski House RiNo, a seasonal pop-up that brings the essence of après-ski to the heart of the city's RiNo Art District. Running through mid-April, the new venue will spotlight the latest in techno and house music.

The vision reportedly emerged when Larimer Lounge's owner and CEO, Gwen Campbell, attended John Summit's Experts Only takeover in Vail earlier this year.

"There's a lot of excitement behind electronic music and skiing right now; there is a natural pairing of the two things," Campbell told Westword. "Après-ski culture is about celebrating being on the mountain, celebrating winter, and electronic music is all about celebration and having a good time."

The Ski House setup promises a captivating ambiance. Guests will enjoy an après-ski-inspired cocktail menu featuring drinks like spiked hot chocolate, chocolate espresso martinis and a fresh winter spritz designed to complement the alpine aesthetic.

Kicking off the winter festivities, the venue's grand opening weekend will feature performances by local favorites Palmer and EVCO, starting at 7pm on Friday, December 6th. Tickets are on sale here.
