LAYZ Announces 2024 Headlining Tour, “AFTERSHOCK”
Fans of LAYZ will soon be scrambling for stable ground after the rising bass music star announced a new headlining tour, "AFTERSHOCK."
"AFTERSHOCK" isn't just a title—it's a promise LAYZ plans to deliver with her ribcage-rattling dubstep. The tour derives from her EP of the same name, which released on Bassweight Records in July.
One of the record's standouts, the ferocious dubstep anthem "WORLD DESTROY," has received support from Excision, Jessica Audiffred and many more. Take a listen below.
As one of the few women ascending through today's male-dominated dubstep scene, LAYZ's headlining tour represents both personal triumph and industry progress.
"The 'AFTERSHOCK' tour is a huge step for me," LAYZ said in a press release. "It's my second tour and it's really a level up from my 'Eye of the Storm' tour! I have big support lineups in all the cities, a full crew, and bigger venues! I'm planning something very special for my new set and very stoked to play all the new music and visuals."
LAYZ, who in 2024 has graced the stages of Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas and many other major festivals, will kick off the 21-date tour in early-October in Austin. She'll then head to a slew of major North American cities, including Chicago, Philly, Seattle and Denver, before wrapping up with a momentous performance at Brooklyn's Avant Gardner in December.
