Louis The Child revamp Tame Impala's 'It Might Be Time' for an afterparty glow [Stream]
In their latest remix effort, Louis The Child has taken on Tame Impala‘s “It Might Be Time” for an afterparty spin. The single derives from Tame Impala’s fourth studio album The Slow Rush which arrived on Valentine’s Day this year, February 14. The new bootleg follows the Chicago pair’s “Womp Womp” remix as part of a larger series of remixes to be released exclusively on Louis The Child’s Youtube channel.
The latest release finds the duo consisting of Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett put their electronic touch to work on the prolific psychedelic outfit’s single. Maintaining the essence of Tame Impala’s distinctive alternative palette, the remix amps up the pace and turns up the distortion to complete the high-energy, party-appropriate ensemble.
“This song came out while we were on tour earlier this year and we became obsessed with it. We wanted to play it at our after parties so we sped it up, threw some drums and a big bass on it and called it a day,” wrote the duo.
