LUXLEY is the alias of US producer Ryan Gray, a project that has steadily and consistently been pumping out quality productions year after year. His latest, “All on the Line” follows in his same style of re-invention, something he attributes to his synesthesia, this time pulling inspiration from the uptempo BPMs of drum & bass and hardcore. Despite the velocity of its percussion and the intensity of the synths, LUXLEY manages to create a listening experience that is intense and soft at the same time. The edge is taken off by a medley of piano rolls and a heavenly top line that balances out the rapid pace of the rest of the production.
