Mac Miller's estate delivers 'Circles' Deluxe Edition
Mac Miller‘s sixth and last studio album Circles has received a new, extended version. Earlier this week, the late rapper’s estate announced the deluxe edition’s release which includes two additional tracks entitled “Right” and “Floating.” The extended release is available exclusively on CD here. Streaming for the album will arrive on March 20 and be followed by a vinyl release on April 17.
Circles first landed on January 17, around 16 months after Miller’s tragic overdose. Originally intended as the companion album for his 2018 LP Swimming, the project was in the midst of completion at the time of the late musician’s death. Miller’s frequent collaborator and producer Jon Brion dedicated himself to finishing the beloved artist’s work at the request of his family.
“When the family came to me, it was one of the most memorable days of my life, because a little bit of time had passed, but it was very, very, very fresh for parents who had lost a kid. They asked me to see it through. I said I would,” stated Brion in an interview.
