Martin Garrix resurrects GRX alias on Florian Picasso collaboration, 'Restart Your Heart'
Roughly two years have come and gone since Martin Garrix last touched his GRX handle. The clean shortening of his stage name has played a dual role as to not directly impede his predominant release schedule while also publicizing lesser-known talent, previously including Brooks and CMC$. Amidst a wave of chaos stemming from the coronavirus pandemic, Martin Garrix has continued to churn out content as he now reinstates the alter-ego for a sophomore collaboration with Florian Picasso, “Restart Your Heart.”
Migrating areas of the human body following “Make Up Your Mind” from three years earlier, “Restart Your Heart” concedes itself as the crowning unknown piece of Garrix’s Ultra Music Festival showing in 2019. The result is a shrewd electro house association that retrieves Martin Garrix’s hard-hitting core while spotlighting Picasso’s dynamic club sound. If one project resurrection wasn’t enough, Garrix recently confirmed his deep house moniker, YTRAM, will see its first original release sometime in the near future.
