MK remixes Alessia Cara for Netflix Original, 'The Willoughbys'

MK‘s contribution to the Netflix Original movie, The Willoughbys, includes an official remix of “I Choose,” a song performed by Alessia Cara, who makes her acting debut in the film. The track falls in line with MK’s signature, groovy house style and sees MK sling rhythmic piano chords atop searing vocals. A healthy dose of vocal chops dance alongside the song’s searing piano melody.

The official remix follows a grip of music recently released by the pop-house producer, including a revamp of HOSH and 1979’s explosively popular “Midnight (The Hanging Tree)” that MK shared on June 12. Just two weeks prior, the Detroit-born remixer took on Katy Perry‘s “Daisies” on May 29, outfitting his take with the groovy piano riffs that have become a staple of his production style. In 2020, MK has also remixed Diplo and SIDEPIECE‘s “On My Mind,” as well as Ellie Goulding and blackbear‘s “Worry About Me.”
