NGHTMRE links with Tory Lanez for slick new hip-hop hybrid, 'Wrist' [Stream]
NGHTMRE’s recent release activity has been littered with hip-hop/electronic hybrids, and that’s not about to change anytime soon. The producer’s rap-inflected route has yielded several high-profile hip-hop crossovers. At the tail-end of 2019, NGHTMRE rubbed shoulders with Gunna on “CASH COW.” The cut was hot on the heels of NGHTMRE’s A$AP Ferg feature, “Red Light.” Now, Tory Lanez joins those ranks for the pair’s first collaborative effort together.
Evidently in no mood to halt the multi-genre momentum that he’s driven to date, NGHTMRE and Tory Lanez link for a sharp, trap-centric venture by the name of “Wrist.” The heavy percussive character of the cut, coupled with its forceful synth work, form a swaggering electronic foundation that Lanez smooths with slick versework. Watch the new music video for “Wrist” below.
