The release of Porter Robinson‘s “Something Comforting” felt especially serendipitous to fans; in a time where the world is collectively feeling the ripples of pandemic, especially in recent weeks, the Worlds producer has come through with music that effectively lifts spirits. “Something Comforting” proved an apt title for the single—the second off his upcoming Nurture LP—which brings warmth to listeners a sonic tapestry of cheery vocals, clever sound effects, and softly padded melodies.

Now arrives the video counterpart for the single, which depicts the artist finding comfort in the wilderness. It feels oddly relevant to current events, in which many are finding solace whilst out in nature. As of writing time, Nurture has yet to reveal its official release date.
