RISE Festival 2025 to Feature “One of the Largest Music Festival Stages In the US”

RISE, the world's largest sky lantern festival, is turning 10 this year, and with that milestone comes a seismic shift both spiritual and structural.

Nestled in the hauntingly vast Jean Dry Lake Bed outside Las Vegas, RISE has long transcended the typical festival formula with its signature sky lantern ceremony. But in 2025, the glow of firelight will share the stage with something far more engineered: The Horizon, which RISE is calling "one of the largest music festival stages in the US."

Spanning over 200 feet wide with 18 video screens and anchored by a dozen stadium towers, The Horizon is a production marvel that RISE says "is built to rival the most celebrated stages in the world." The stage represents a bold leap into the festival's second decade, promising not only breathtaking visuals and sound, but also a platform big enough to hold the swelling ambitions of one of America's most unique desert gatherings.

Headliners RÜFÜS DU SOL, Calvin Harris and John Mayer are set to christen the new stage across the festival's three nights from October 3-5.

"We have created something that doesn’t just house performances—it amplifies them and elevates them," RISE Festival CEO David Oehm said of The Horizon. "It's bold, breathtaking and built for celebration."

Tickets to RISE Festival's 10th anniversary are on sale now.
