RÜFÜS DU SOL and The Chemical Brothers support AU Red Cross with charity film screening – Dancing Astronaut
The Australian bush-fires may be mostly contained, but for the thousands who lost their homes, businesses, or loved ones, the struggles are just beginning. With Australia need’s for support being just as dire as before, RÜFÜS DU SOL has teamed up with The Chemical Brothers to not only spread the message and keep the situation in the headlines, but to raise money for the crisis through their own efforts as well.
As announced on RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Instagram, the two iconic acts will be taking their live performances to the Australian cinema for a back-to-back double-header of electronic music’s finest. The first half of the screening will show RÜFÜS’s highly reveled performance from The Joshua Tree, and will be followed by The Chemical Brother’s 2012 audiovisual mind-bender Don’t Think.
The events take place for one night only at the Sydney Randwick Ritz and Melbourne Imax on March 4th, with all proceeds being donated to the Red Cross bushfire appeal. Get more info for tickets here.
