SAYMYNAME unleashes versatile two-track 'ELEVATED' EP

SAYMYNAME has unleashed his EP, ELEVATED, a two-track project Ultra Records, that showcases the producer’s versatility within the trap genre. The project boasts his signature hard-trap sound alongside a more melodic feature piece with Yung Pinch. “Alright” featuring the Huntington Beach vocalist offers a sultry R&B cadence alongside SAYMYNAME’s percussion, laying the track’s backbone over on a lush bed of melodic synthscapes. The hook utilizes distorted harmonic vocal chops dancing with hefty brass and sparkling ad libs for an emotive trap feeler.

“Spitfire” falls on the heavy bass side of things with an ominous buildup that leads to a stupid, silly drop of thrashing synths and filtered growls bolstered by a rumbling sub. ELEVATED closely follows the hard-trap don’s Awakening EP, as the bass slayer is looking to release six EPs in 2020.
