Shockpoint Unveils Ruthless Debut EP, “Into Nothing”

Rising dubstep phenomenon Shockpoint has landed on Megalodon's Bypass Audio imprint with his debut EP, Into Nothing.

Shockpoint merges his traditional music education with a DIY, experimental approach that keeps his audience on the edge of their seats. Characterized by punchy basses and cinematic sound design, his distinctive and decimating sound has garnered support from standouts like Hard Tooth Records, Hybrid Trap and UZ’s Quality Goods Records.

Spanning five impressive tracks, Into Nothing tests the boundaries of bass music while taking listeners on a sonic adventure that combines stentorian production with ruthless drops, each of which are replete with unrelenting energy.

Shockpoint kicks off the project with "Exordium," which serves as the perfect introductory track to his heavy-hitting universe. “Neuromorph” then takes the energy up a notch, effortlessly transitioning from an eerie, futuristic ambiance to an ear-splitting dubstep drop.

"Whiplash" weaves in subtle trap elements and infectious melodies while “Intercept” (a collaboration with Frantik) might arguably make for one of Shockpoint’s most impressive and technically pristine productions to date. Meanwhile, the titular “Into Nothing” completes the EP with a bona fide stunner, seeing Shockpoint delve into drum & bass with a masterful banger.
