Skrillex, Flowdan, Fred again.. and More Featured on “NBA 2K24” Soundtrack
The year's hottest electronic track found its way into one of the biggest games of 2023.
Released right at the beginning of 2023 was "Rumble," the hotly anticipated collaboration between Skrillex, Fred again.. and Flowdan. Since exploding in popularity last year after Fred's breakout Boiler Room set, it became one of the most-played tracks across sets of many genres all year long.
Speaking of "most-played," the next entry in the gigantic NBA 2K basketball series is about to arrive, and "Rumble" will be featured on the soundtrack alongside some of the biggest names in hip-hop.
Unlike the FIFA or F1 soundtracks, NBA 2K24 does not feature many selections for electronic fans outside of the trio's smash hit. Players can build their team, face off with opponents online and relive historical moments from the careers of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and of course Shaquille O'Neal—or DJ Diesel in electronic music circles—to the sounds of Ice Spice, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Baby Keem, Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo, Takeoff, Future, Lil Baby and more.
