Step Into INFEKT’s Greenhouse From Hell, “VEGGIE GAMES”

In his new EP, VEGGIE GAMESINFEKT proves that his creative nutrients are anything but depleted.

Planting seeds of chaos that blossom into a wild garden of riddim, he takes his "organic dubstep" sound to new heights in the project, out now via Monstercat. The rising electronic music superstar called VEGGIE GAMES his "proudest work to date" after a determined period of painstaking work on the technical side of his production.

"Over the last year I've progressed so much in sound design, mixdown, and overall quality, and I’m stoked to finally reveal it," INFEKT said in a press release. "Every track has a different flavor and influence. Some styles are more OG, some ultra-futuristic, some deeper and understated—all inspired by the incredible energy people I've been bringing to my shows and my unstoppable hunger to find new ways to create crazy bass sounds and flows."

That dedication is clear right off the rip thanks to the EP's blistering opener, "BEAMS," a relentless banger with snare cracks that crunch like fresh celery. The energy doesn't relent in the ensuing track, "MOMENTUM," where a hip-hop-inspired lyrical grenade detonates through squelching riddim drops.

Elsewhere, INFEKT's unique brand of audio agriculture is on full display in "NO FLEX," one of the EP's standouts. Here, vintage dubstep wobbles sprout like mutant beanstalks and vine their way through a thicket of thunderous subs.

VEGGIE GAMES arrives in the midst of a bona fide breakout for INFEKT, who has a landmark performance at Tomorrowland on the horizon. Skrillex, Subtronics, Marshmello and many more have consistently played his records in 2024 and he's been rampaging through the live circuit, selling out shows in Los Angeles, Denver, Vancouver and other major North American cities on an expansive headlining tour.
