The Chainsmokers Are Giving Away a Free Year in a Luxury NYC Apartment With a Recording Studio
The Chainsmokers want to pay your rent for a year.
The superstar duo have revealed a rather unique contest in collaboration with their friends at the New York City luxury apartment complex, The Smile. The Chainsmokers will be giving away a free year in the building in an apartment that comes complete with a music studio which they've designed.
Geared towards creatives in the music industry, the contest, which The Chainsmokers are calling the first of its kind, is inspired by the early days and humble beginnings of their career in the Big Apple. Sharing a video to announce the competition, they cited New York City as a major influence and said they want to give someone else the same experience.
Details shared on the contest's website explain who is eligible to win. Winners must be 21 and older, a U.S. resident outside of Alaska and Hawaii and be a "participant in the music industry."
The contest will run until September 5th, 2023 at 11:59pm. Entrants will need to answer questions about their art and how a free apartment would impact them, and create TikTok content to be judged. They'll ultimately select one winner to receive a free year in the lavish digs.
