Todd Terry remixes his 2016 original, 'Can U Dig It'
Despite having one of the longest careers in the industry, house legend Todd Terry is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Halfway through 2020, Terry has already released over a dozen singles and an EP, the aptly titled Just Drums. Although this pace is hardly unfamiliar to Terry and his fans, the ever-prolific DJ continues to impress year after year by ramping up the rate at which he releases his productions, and 2020 is no different.
The Grammy-nominated producer’s latest is a remix of one of his own originals, 2016’s “Can U Dig It.” The rework stays true to the staples of classic house music, with ear-catching samples taking center sonic stage on Terry’s new spin on the timeless production. Sonically, it’s yet another affirmation that classic house and Todd Terry are here to stay.
