Watch The Chainsmokers Drop Unreleased Collaboration With ILLENIUM, “See You Again”

The Chainsmokers and ILLENIUM have reunited for "See You Again," an angsty breakup anthem with a future bass twist.

The chart-topping producers, who teamed up back in the summer of 2019 for the global dance hit "Takeaway," returned to the studio last year and revealed a new collaboration in the works.

They're now showing off the fruits of their labor after teasing the soaring "See You Again." The Chainsmokers took to social media to share a video of them dropping the unreleased song, which they say is "even mightier" than its predecessor.

The high-flying collab features red-hot alt-pop artist Carlie Hanson, who signed to Warner Bros. Records in 2019 before releasing her debut studio album, Tough Boy. She recently dropped her sophomore effort, Wisconsin.

"please don’t text your ex upon hearing this," The Chainsmokers commented on Instagram, teasing the song's breakup theme. "when i see you again i’ll be on guard," added the duo's Drew Taggart.

Check out the clip below. Neither ILLENIUM nor The Chainsmokers have announced a release date, but the song will likely drop soon considering fans are now able to pre-save it.
