Will there be parties in Ibiza in October 2020?

The party season in Ibiza traditionally finishes half way through October. Usually if you visit the island at this time, you'll be treated to the closing parties of all the major night clubs and promoters.

However, October 2020 is a little different due to the pandemic. There are currently no club listings available for the island as venues figure out when it will be safe to open. Organisations representing Ibiza clubs are working hard to find a solution, including increased public health measures and extending the season to November to allow parties to happen later in the year.

The Spanish President has confirmed that the country will be welcoming visitors from July 2020, so there may be updates on the Ibiza club scene soon. We will update this page as and when they happen.

What is there to do in Ibiza in October?

Clubs, bars and restaurants are all open as usual, albeit with less crowds than peak season.

The same goes for beaches, the markets and Ibiza's famous old town.

If you're a fan of outdoor activities on holiday, the lower temperatures will make it easier for you to explore the island during the day, as well as take a hike or go for a run. Don't worry – the beaches and sea will still be nice and warm.

Be warned though – Ibiza's closing parties will be as busy as the opening parties in late May and Early June. Book ahead to avoid disappointment!
