Zedd is gearing up to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of his iconic debut album, ‘Clarity,’ this year and after previously announcing a special engagement for fans in San Francisco, it appears he is expanding his plans. In Los Angeles, Zedd has announced that he will be joined by a 50 piece orchestra.
While many are still awaiting Zedd to release his official follow up to his 2015 sophomore album, ‘True Colors,’ fans will be very excited to hear classics like ‘Spectrum‘ and ‘Clarity‘ paired with the full dynamics of such a large group of musicians. While his October 7th show in San Francisco at the Bill Graham Auditorium will feature Joel Corry, Shallou and local artist DJ Dials, no further details have been shared for the Los Angeles event on the 9th. For many fans, the biggest question will be what other guests will take the stage to support Zedd in presenting ‘Clarity’ in this format. No doubt there will be plenty of speculation, especially regarding key names such as Foxes, Ellie Goulding, Lights and Hayley Williams, assuming Zedd will play the deluxe edition and ‘Stay The Night‘ is performed, although this is merely speculation.
All of the behind the scenes speculation aside, it will no doubt be a magical evening, as electronic music artists have shown the beauty of deconstructing their music for analog instruments, with the most high profile example being Above & Beyond‘s acoustic tour and album releases. For fans hoping to witness this historic event in person, there will be an artist pre-sale that takes place this Thursday at 10 am and can be accessed here, otherwise, the general on sale will be Friday at 10 am through Live Nation.
