Zedd has officially signed on to become the Global Brand Ambassador for the gaming and lifestyle brand, HyperX. The newly announced partnership will look to utilize the producers love of gaming to help bring forth a new series of promotions, products and opportunities for gaming and music fans alike.
Coming on the heels of a recently announced partnership with N!CK’s Ice Cream, Zedd continues to showcase his passions outside of music and align himself with brands that excite him. As for the partnership with HyperX, the company has discussed how the relationship came together organically, starting several years ago when Zedd reached out via Twitter, while searching for a reliable headset to meet his gaming needs. Despite his often busy touring and production schedule, gaming remains a priority and a means of relaxation for the Russian-German DJ, and partnering with HyperX appears to be a win for both parties. With Zedd on board, HyperX will now serve as his Official Gaming Audiomand Gaming Microphone Supplier going forward. For Zedd’s participation, he will work with HyperX on product designs as well as “promote several original product offerings, including custom, and limited edition headsets and peripherals.” Products won’t be the only focus of this new venture, as music and gamer fans will also be treated to promotional platforms and fan exclusive content.
While full details and timelines for these products and timelines have yet to be announced, HyperX has already dedicated a page of their website to promote Zedd’s favorite products. As for Zedd, he is very excited for this new venture and that come’s through in his statement regarding the new partnership:
