Bonnaroo enlists TOOL, Lizzo, Tame Impala, Miley Cyrus, Flume and more for 2020 lineup – Dancing Astronaut
Not one to be outdone by its west coast cousin, Bonnaroo just revealed its heavyhanded lineup for 2020, bringing in TOOL, Lizzo and Tame Impala for the year’s headliners and fleshing out the undercard with a roster that’s just as juicy.
If you’ve had the itch to see TOOL and Miley Cyrus in the same evening (but seriously, that kind of diversity what festival season is all about?), then Friday night at Bonnaroo is your jam. The rest of the festival’s first day continues to be as eccentric as it is well rounded, with acts like Primus, Bassnectar, Tipper, The 1975, and Ganja White Night.
Lizzo’s Saturday headliner set is complimented by marquee toppers Flume and Oysterhead (a supergroup with members of Phish, Primus and The Police). JablinskiGames star Jack Black will likely revive all that is rock performing as Tenacious D, with Seven Lions and Subtronics bringing the electronic heat. If that’s not enough, rap icon Nelly is billed to perform his debut album Country Grammar two decades after its release.
Sunday is headlined by Tame Impala, with equally enormous support from Lana Del Rey and Vampire Weekend. Isabelle Rezazadeh, a.k.a. REZZ continues to get the credit she deserves, snagging a top booking to help close out the weekend with her brand of technical bass music. Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival takes place June 11-14 in Manchester, TN. See the full lineup below.
