Kormak Taps MISS DRE for New House Heater, “Whitney”

Featuring MISS DRE’s alluring vocals, the Sydney-based DJ and producer's new record is a party-starting house anthem.

Kormak’s unique style, developed through years of sampling from a young age and reinforced with London DJ residencies, is palpable in his newest release, "Whitney." The track features rising vocalist, DJ and producer MISS DRE.

Out now on Ultra Records, "Whitney" is a house anthem with the panache and liveliness to rile up any dancefloor. Sultry vocals tickle the ears while a cocktail of thick drums, crisp hi-hats and thumping basslines churn.

Kormak's inspiration to produce music has long been inspired by his heritage. He began cutting edits of classic Turkish songs and was also deeply inspired by the sounds of Armand Van Helden. Residencies in London's famed Kings Cross district have helped catapult him as he hones on his unique style, which is making waves at the moment.

The new track follows recent hits "Mercy," “Give It To Me,” “I Want You” and “Take Me Home,” four distinctive tracks that have stirred up dancefloors across the world. Take a listen to “Whitney” below.
