Flume Drops Second Album of Unreleased Tracks “Arrived Anxious, Left Bored”

The surprise album is the follow-up to February's "Things Don’t Always Go The Way You Plan."

Another care package from the Flume archives.

Days before he takes over the Kia Forum for his special "10 Years of Flume" performance, the future bass pioneer surprised fans with ten more unrelated tracks. Packaged up in album form with a highly relatable title, Arrived Anxious, Left Bored, listeners can discover the sounds of Flume from 2015-2021. Similar to the unreleased compilation he released back in the winter, the songs are a collection of those that didn't make it onto the two bodies of work released in that six-year stretch, the Grammy-winning Skin, and the Hi This Is Flume mixtape.

Listeners may arrive anxious to the new album but they certainly won't leave bored. The eight solo tracks and two collaborations with Jim-E Stack and Emile Haynie show off Flume's bold sound design choices and cement his position as one of the most exciting producers in modern-day electronic music.

As previously mentioned, back in February, Flume treated fans to songs from as far back as 2012 on the ten-track compilation Things Don’t Always Go The Way You Plan. It seems logical for fans to expect to see a few of these sprinkled in when he takes the stage this Friday for the show that celebrates all the different eras of his career.
