5 Things You Can’t Miss at Imagine Music Festival 2023

Summer 2023 has been a whirlwind of global electronic music events and experiences. While there's still time left on the clock, we're in the closing weeks of peak festival season.

Based in Georgia, Imagine Music Festival marks one of the last major summer events to come to form this season. The beloved event of nearly a decade has fostered a reputation for curating an immersive camping festival experience and a tight-knit community, all while top talent from across the dance music spectrum take the stage.

This year's festival yields the promise of continued greatness for the Kingston Downs festival property with comfort camping amenities, experiential add-ons and their highest-profile lineup to date. Here are five things you can't miss this year.

With nearly a decade of success, Imagine continues to make an impact

Imagine organizers have courted over 100 artists across four unique stages. The weekend will be soundtracked by top electronic music talent including Big Gigantic, Chris Lake, Rezz, SVDDEN DEATH and Zomboy.

Imagine, the longest-running electronic music festival in the Atlanta area, continues to stake its claim as one of the American South's premier dance music events. It has sustained exponential growth from the 6,000 daily attendees who attended the inaugural edition in 2014 to over 30,000 today.

Taking place once again within the sprawling 5,000-acre Kingston Downs property, Imagine is proudly calling the location its new home after a stellar 2022 outing.

Experimental back-to-backs

The beloved festival of nine years has never lost touch with the ambitious, experimental roots that brought the series to prominence. To that end, Imagine is breaking down barriers with an infusion of several incredible back-to-back sets, including Dillon Francis b2b Knock2 and NGHTMRE b2b Diesel.

Beyond that, there's still more eye-grabbing lineup details to consider. Dom Dolla is delivering a tone-setting performance with a one-of-a-kind "sunset set" on Saturday. Meanwhile, SOFI TUKKER are bringing a hybrid live set to form to kickstart the epic weekend.

Experiential add-ons

Everyone knows planning is essential to making the most of a camping festival experience. To ease some of the pre-travel jitters prior to the trek to Kingston Downs, Imagine is offering a combined early arrival and pre-party access package.

Festival-goers with this add-on will arrive on Thursday, a full day before general admission. The extra time will allow fans to stake their campsites before enjoying an intimate pre-party experience that's sure to build anticipation for the main course.

Subsequently, Saturday and Sunday will see a takeover of the Aqua Day Club & Pool by a to-be-determined lineup of DJs. Enjoy nearly three-hours of live music daily at the poolside for a refreshing respite from the summer heat.

Show-stopping stage takeovers

This year Imagine has partnered with some of the scene's most prolific talent cultivators to launch a series of unforgettable stage takeovers.

The pop-up powerhouse Brownies & Lemonade is sure to be bringing the next generation of great producers to the stage. Canada's largest independent music label, Monstercat is additionally joining the effort. Finally, artist-led takeovers from ISOxo and John Summit are also on tap.

Glamping and VIP accommodations

For those looking to ease their mind of staking a campground almost entirely, Imagine is coming through with two "glamping" related options worth exploring. A deluxe glamping two twin beds or one queen configuration provides a premium sheltering experience with the best on-the-ground locations.

Enjoy an added sense of comfort and hospitality with access to VIP camp grounds, an exclusive camping pre-party and a dedicated VIP lounge to decompress and recharge.
