DAIZY Drops Nostalgic Trap Banger, “Take Me Back”

DAIZY takes listeners on a neural joyride with her new single, "Take Me Back," a trap banger with a nostalgic twist.

The promising DJ and producer has been steadily building her career since 2016, performing at a slew of major clubs and festivals in Korea. A big breakthrough happened three years later, when she DJed at the 2019 edition of EDC Korea.

After releasing records on a slew of beloved bass music labels, like Wubaholics and Mersiv's MorFlo Records, DAIZY has now returned with "Take Me Back." Kicking off with spacey soundscapes in the intro, her production feels like floating in a sensory deprivation tank—only to be violently ejected by a maniacal trap drop.

Careening between wistful reverie and bass-fueled pandemonium, DAIZY then pulls you into a dreamlike abyss, leaving you disoriented but craving more. Stitching disparate elements together with precision, she takes listeners through a wormhole of wonky synths and distorted bass. Meanwhile, the mantra-like repetition of "just take me back" serves as a hypnotic anchor, grounding us amidst the swirling chaos.
